I never said anyone was perfect. Maybe he’s a flawed character who uses his power to enforce his own sense of justice without taking care to realize his own flaws.
The Angle is staying/complying to repay a life dept and the fire demon got sad when no one was molesting her. He was also worried about what would happen to June without a Nanny. So no inconsistencies here. 😉
